Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (Occasionally 6:00 AM 2:30 PM)
Overtime: Occasional overtime and possible Saturdays

This is a heavy job that will require General Labor duties in addition to forklift operation, main product are Mattresses.

Job Summary

Arrow Staffing is seeking an experienced and safety-consciousMaterial Handler with Sit down Forkliftexperience for a mattress manufacturing company in Rialto, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent, consistent experience operating a sit-down Toyota forklift with forks. This position involves moving materials throughout the facility, transporting pallets, and assisting with loading and unloading operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Please note: Candidates will be required to participate in an interview and complete a hands-on forklift operating test as part of the hiring process.

Job Duties

• Safely operate a sit-down Toyota forklift with forks to move materials and pallets throughout the facility.

• Load and unload materials, products, and pallets from designated areas and delivery vehicles.

• Transport and stage materials to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations.

• Maintain organized material storage areas and ensure products are placed in the correct locations.

• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.

• Perform daily equipment safety checks and report any equipment issues or unsafe conditions.

• Assist with general warehouse and material-handling duties as needed, this position will require general labor duties that don t require a forklift throughout the shift

• Maintain awareness of surrounding employees, equipment, and pedestrian traffic at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent and consistent sit-down forklift operating experience.

• Previous experience operating a Toyota sit-down forklift with forks is required.

• Must demonstrate safe forklift operation and pass a hands-on forklift test during the interview process.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to surroundings.

• Experience moving pallets, transporting materials, and loading/unloading.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work occasional overtime and Saturdays.

• Must be flexible to occasionally start at 6:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM.

• Ability to perform physical material-handling duties as required.

Candidates must interview with the company and successfully demonstrate their forklift operating skills during a practical assessment. Only candidates with recent, hands-on forklift experience and a strong safety mindset should be considered.
