Join Our Team as a Material Handler - Truck Loader!
Are you an experienced warehouse professional with a knack for efficiently loading and unloading tractor trailers? Were seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in Mocksville, NC. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic industrial environment with growth potential!
Position Details:
- Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:30PM12:00AM) Monday through Friday with mandatory Saturday overtime as needed
- Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00 per hour plus $1.00/hour shift premium, with potential increases based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload tractor trailers containing finished goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate sit-down forklifts and scissor lifts to move materials, using RF scan guns for inventory accuracy.
- Conduct daily preventive maintenance on assigned forklifts to ensure safety and optimal operation.
- Read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and shipping documents to correctly gather and distribute items.
- Stock and organize materials on racks or shelves by size, type, or product code.
- Prepare customer orders by assembling stock, placing pallets, or conveying items to packing or shipping areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and company standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in loading/unloading tractor trailers.
- Ability to operate sit-down forklifts, scissor lifts, and hand trucks confidently.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Fluent English communication skills (minimum 80% proficiency).
- Ability to meet during hands-on evaluations with supervisors.
