Material Handler/Warehouse

• Responsibilities:
• Ø  Reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor
• Ø  75% of work is manual picking and packing of orders.   Remaining 25% is auditing shipments, completing paperwork, stocking product, and using forklift or electric hand jack.
• Ø  Adheres to the Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions of the QMS
• Ø  Transfer material into correct bins of inventories utilizing bar coded material tags and bin locations thru material management software using PC and handheld scanners.
• Ø  Practice safe handling to reduce risk of injury to self and others as described in procedures, equipment restrictions, safety training and applicable certificates of achievement.
• Ø  Able to identify bill of material requirements on job order
• Ø  Replenish inventory at work centers utilizing a KANBAN system
• Ø  Collect completed paperwork from work centers and deliver to department heads
•  
• Ø  Ensure that material is properly tagged and in proper location.
• Ø  Proper care and maintenance of resources used by the material handling position including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, computers and printers.
• Ø  Participating in the process of verifying inventory levels through periodic audits.
• Ø  Practice good housekeeping to ensure safety of self and others.
