Wyandotte, MI (On Site)

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our Performance Materials team in Wyandotte.

The Performance Materials division is at the forefront of the much-needed sustainability transformation in plastics. Our experts co-create products with customers to bring innovations to major industry sectors such as transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction. These solutions contribute to a sustainable future by pushing the boundaries in thermal resistance, robustness and lightweight applications.

During your 8-hour shift as a Material Handler, you will…

Perform the loading process for bulk trucks, loading from silos and supersacks

Verification of receiving and loading documents

Cross train to learn and perform other logistics responsibilities

Learn and perform receiving and rail car off loading duties

General warehouse duties

Learn and use various software applications

Counting and reporting of physical inventory

Understanding and practice of safety methods

Overtime on rotating weekends and holidays

Communicate with logistic planners and production personnel

Fill in areas of the logistics department as needed.

If you…

Have a High School Diploma or GED.

Hold a Forklift Operator certification, or willing to obtain one.

Are willing and able to work an 8-hour shift with occasional need to stay longer.

Can work overtime on rotating weekends and holidays.

Have knowledge and Hazcom training along with experience in Shipping and Receiving (preferred).

Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
