About the Role

We are seeking reliable Material Handlers to join our manufacturing facility in Chattanooga. In this role, you will operate forklifts and manage the movement of incoming and outgoing materials to support warehouse operations. The position involves unloading trucks, stacking merchandise, locating and transporting stock, and identifying damages or shortages. Candidates must be committed to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks
• Stack materials and products in designated storage areas or prepare items for shipment
• Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipping
• Identify damages, quality issues, and report shortages or discrepancies
• Assist with picking and packing orders as needed
• Follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines during all material handling activities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace
• Support inventory management through accurate stock location and movement
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid forklift operator certification (sit-down forklift preferred)
• Warehouse experience of at least 2 years preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Flexibility to work an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with pick/pack and order fulfillment processes
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment on the first shift
• Familiarity with inventory management and stock movement procedures
• Knowledge of warehouse tools for stacking and organizing materials

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and work in a warehouse environment throughout the shift
• Must pass background and drug screenings
