    Job Summary

    The Material Handling Support will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials within the facility, ensuring production lines are continuously stocked and finished goods are properly managed and prepared for shipment. This role is critical to maintaining smooth operational flow and inventory accuracy.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
    • Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming materials and components according to established procedures.
    • Accurately pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines as required, ensuring timely supply to avoid downtime.
    • Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and assist with cycle counting and physical inventory processes.
    • Prepare finished goods for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and loading onto trucks.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and material storage areas.
    • Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on material handling equipment.
    • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
    • Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
    • Communicate effectively with production, quality, and shipping departments to ensure seamless operations.

    Required Skills and Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a material handling or warehouse environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
    • Proven ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; valid forklift certification preferred.
    • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management systems.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
