Material Specialist
Jacksonville, FL
Contract
$22.50-$27.50/hr
 Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Depot and warehouse material operations, including:
  • Shipping and receiving, loading/unloading freight, and dock operations.
  • Inventory management, cycle counts, receiving inspections, and Government inventory audits.
  • SAP transactions for receiving shipping, inventory movements, parts reconciliation, kit management, and material research.
  • Breaking down, building, and delivering kits to production/assembly areas.
  • Tracking and moving materials throughout the facility and coordinating parts with vendors, repair operations, logistics, and production personnel.
  • Preparing outbound shipments, including dangerous goods documentation.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and participating in material review meetings.
  • Developing Excel spreadsheets for material and data requirements.
  • Packaging, tracking, and coordinating transportation of support equipment.

Education & Experience: Material Specialist
  • 2+ years' experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Word Power Point, with basic knowledge of MS Excel spreadsheet.
  • Clear oral and written communications
  • Knowledge of shipping dangerous goods.
Preferred Qualifications: Material Specialist
  • Knowledge of Shipping and Receiving
  • DG/HAZMAT compliance training
