Position Summary
The PC&L Associate is responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers. The operator is responsible for following the job responsibilities within the plant and/or warehouse while operating in a fast-paced environment:

Standard Duties:
PC&L Associate will be expected to safely perform all tasks assigned by Leadership including all positions within the Physical Logistics department.
Safely operates all equipment to which the individual is certified (ex):
Sit-down Forklifts
Stand Up Lifts (Both Reach and Pacer)
Tuggers
Electric Jacks
Reads and understands work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute the material flow requirements.
Manually loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves on foot and by hand as required (see physical requirements).
Accurately and timely enters materials transactional information into SAP and other systems as required.
Reads electronic and manual bill of materials, pull sheets, pick sheets to retrieve and deliver necessary materials for operations.
Support 5S / Housekeeping activities as required.
Use appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure.
Loads/Unloads materials into trailers adhering to Dock Safety Protocol.
Meet physical logistics KPI's, Associate Engagement and Teamwork
Adherence to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points.
Wear all required PPE and follow box cutting safety protocols.

Education & Experience
Education:
High School diploma or GED required
Experience:
3 months of Powered Industrial Truck experience required Active Forklift Certification License preferred
Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferred
Experience in fast paced industrial lean environment preferred
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP Inventory software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
