Materials Buyer - Entry

Adecco is hiring immediately for Entry Level Buyers with a local client in Austin, TX. 

·         Buyer Entry: Up to $31.50 (1-2 years of related experience)

·         100% onsite

 

Role Responsibilities:

·         Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.

·         Follow-up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records. 

·         Adhere to standard purchasing business processes

·         Proactively drive and ensure timely delivery/shipment of parts from supplier to CLIENT’S factories including resolution of shipment/receiving and billing issues with supplier Partner with suppliers on demand/supply collaboration.

·         Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand Drive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts

·         Negotiate and execute purchase and RFQ to drive the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need

·         Drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers) with support from Managers

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree required

·         1-2 years of related experience for Entry Buyer

·         A solid understanding of the industry’s key business drivers  

·         Good communication/interpersonal skills to explain complex information to others

Pay Details: $27.00 to $31.50 per hour
