Materials - Buyer - Intermediate

Adecco is hiring immediately for Intermediate Buyers with a local client in Austin, TX. 

·         Buyer Intermediate: Up to $37.50 (2-4 years of related experience)

·         100% onsite

 

Role Responsibilities:

·         Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality.

·         Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand

·         Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management)

·         Drive purchasing activities to execute purchase at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.

·         Lead inventory and E&Z reduction efforts

·         Manage and lead assigned Purchasing Projects (i.e. Manage cost, schedule, and scope as required)

·         Manage complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership team and internal stakeholders

·         Contribute to purchasing process improvement within the team and Act as trainer for department purchasing activities 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree required

·         2-4 years of related experience for Intermediate Buyer

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplace

·         Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus, as needed

Pay Details: $32.00 to $37.50 per hour
