Materials Hander

Pay Rate: $14 per hour - $16.25 per hour

Summary:

• Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Assemble lift trucks and components within a specified cycle time.
• Test, inspect, make adjustments, and reject parts/materials as necessary.
• Ensure proper care and usage of assembly tools, equipment, and facility, maintaining general housekeeping.
• Operate equipment safely and exhibit safe behavior at all times.
• Accept responsibility for the quality of work performed.
• Document processes using the BAM system.
• Adhere to quality standards consistently.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Work safely, perform quality work, and be available to work flexible shifts and overtime as required.
• Maintain work area and participate in developmental programs as identified by the company.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED – preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of assembly processes and tools.
• Ability to read and make decisions from SOEs, OMS, shop orders, operation sheets, prints, diagrams, and written/verbal instructions.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment and proper use of PPE.
• Familiarity with DFT techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• National Career Readiness Certification is preferred.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage time effectively to maintain an acceptable level of attendance.
• Exhibit willingness to participate in training deemed necessary by management to assist in the development of basic and technical skills.
