Responsibilities:
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges
Forklift experience preferred: Lifts heavy items and will operate a forklift, scissor lift and electric lifts
Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped and received.
Experience working in an assembly/manufacturing environment: Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, gown rooms or field operations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy: Managing the non-inventory items stored for each business unit (moving, labeling, and updating holding lists)
Responsible for managing all items allocated for scrap and coordinating with scrap supplier adhering to strict company scrap policies.
Manages storage requests for special projects/shipments.
Warehouse storage management and space allocation.
Coordinate creating requests for all special needs return materials authorizations
Gas and Chemical receiving will require HazWopper and RCRA Training.
Work in in/with a Team of Facility Mechanics to support site operations.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude including ability to use hand tools
Applies general math skills including fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Familiar with SAP Ariba procurement a plus
Ability to speak distinctly and see and hear clearly
Adhere to safety procedures consistent with the use of hand and power tools,
Physical Demands and Work Conditions. The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Duties also include application of proper industry safety procedures when working with dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional travel to TEL factories, training facilities and customer locations may be required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. A clean room garment may be required to be worn for lengthy periods of time. PPE is Required including, not limited to, consistent wearing of safety glasses, safety shoes and a bump cap. Job duties may require walking up to and more than 10,000 steps per shift (8 hours).
