Title: Materials Planner Duration: 12 Months Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: 5:30 AM - 4.00 PM or 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM(w/lunch) Monday-Thursday

Description
Work within a material planning team at San Antonio manufacturing facility where we build Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs.
Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
Develops specifications for new contract orders.
Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems
Desired Skills:
Proficient with MS Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and no experience (OR)
At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience
Strong excel experience with V-Lookup
Note:
They have made the determination to mandatory 10 hour days this week.
We will be transitioning to 10-hour days in the future. 4/10's M-Th
It is required that consultants wear steel-toed shoes all day long.
No jewelry as this is a plant environment.
