Providence Cristo Rey High School has a Semester 2 opening for a High School Math Teacher (Algebra II). The Math Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering daily math instruction, assessing student learning, providing timely feedback, maintaining accurate grades and attendance, and supporting students in successfully completing course requirements. The ideal candidate will build positive relationships with students, maintain high academic expectations, and create opportunities for students to think critically, engage in inquiry, and explain and defend their thinking. The teacher will maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment aligned with the mission and expectations of Providence Cristo Rey.A bachelor's degree is required. A background in secondary mathematics education, or a related field and previous experience working with high school students are strongly preferred.
