Vanderheyden is seeking a High School Math Teacher to teach students with special needs the fundamentals of high school mathematics at our certified 853.
Primary Duties & Essential Functions
Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
Experience teaching Math grades 7-12.
Experience with at-risk youth and/or youth with special education needs preferred.
Abilities and Working Conditions:
Must be available to work a first shift, 36-hour work week.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willingness to respond to the needs of a culturally diverse population.
Ability to deal positively with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Display a positive, professional and proactive attitude to accomplish quality work that is in line with the agency’s mission statement.
Seek opinions and alternative viewpoints in decision-making. Understand and respect the expertise and experience of others, appreciate the different views, and the perspective and limitations of other individuals.
Exhibits a professional, courteous demeanor with internal and external constituents.
Pay: $55,000 annually for bachelor's level and $65,000 annually for master's.
