We are seeking an energetic and experienced Math Tutor to join our team! As a math teacher at Sylvan you will assist students in helping them understand educational concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for tests. Your goal is to help students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is reliable, understanding, and has a passion for education!
We are currently looking for part-time math teachers. You will provide personalized instruction in Math at all grade levels through Algebra 2. Shifts are available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7pm.
As a successful teacher you will:
Teach using Sylvan based programs
Supervise, interact with and motivate students while they work
Evaluate and document student progress
Communicate student needs to the center director
Inspire students
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in a math related field is required
Prior tutoring experience preferred
