Currently seeking Math tutors for tutoring in Pearland and Friendswood areasWe are currently seeking part-time instructors, teachers and tutors who can teach Math to junior high to high school grade levels, including Algebra 2, Geometry, pre-Calculus, and Calculus
The ideal candidate for this job is knowledgeable about the TEKS and skilled in teaching local curriculum, study skills, and other content relevant to junior high to high school levels.
Our tutors are:
- Full-time or part-time Teachers who are actively teaching currently
- preferably certified teachers, substitute teachers or paraprofessionals
- Teacher aides and/or paraprofessionals with classroom experience
- Special Education teachers
- Retired teachers
- Substitute Teachers with teaching experience
- Professionals who are subject matter experts with teaching experience
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree/diploma preferred
- Teacher's certification preferred
- Understanding local curriculum
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in teaching and/or tutoring
- Be able to create personalized tutoring session plans
- Strong typing, PC, and recording skills
- Having reliable transportation is a must
