Job Overview
The College of Business Administration is seeking Graduate Assistants for the 2026-2027 academic year to support faculty instruction in a select group of MBA courses. This is a part-time, temporary position with a maximum of 20 hours per week, open only to CSUSM graduate students in the SMBA or FEMBA programs who have successfully completed the course(s) for which they are applying to assist. This work should not take precedence over the successful completion of the graduate degree program by the student in a timely manner. First-year students are ineligible to apply.
Potential course assignments include SMBA courses (BA 602, MGMT 604 ACCT 601, FIN 601, MKTG 602, OM 602, MGMT 606) and FEMBA courses (BA 611, BA 626, and BA 630).
Graduate Assistants will be placed in a course where they have relevant academic or professional experience. Final course placements are subject to faculty need and enrollment.

Anticipated Pay Rate
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
Graduate Assistants are non-exempt employees. CSU policy limits work assignments to no more than 20 hours in a week in all campus positions combined while students are in session.

Applications are accepted and reviewed as needed, on an on-going basis throughout the 2026-2027 Academic Year. All positions are subject to enrollment/registration as a CSUSM student and funding.
