Primary Care MD (Sign- On Bonus)

    Job Overview

    Location/Schedule: Portland Metro Area, Part-time or Full-time

    Position: Medical Doctor

    Program: Primary Care

    Cascadia's Mission and Vision:

Mission: Cascadia Health delivers whole health care – integrated mental health and addiction services, primary care, and housing – to promote hope and support the well-being of the communities we serve.

Vision: We envision a community where everyone benefits from whole health care, experiences well-being, and has a self-directed, connected life.

    Position Description:

Cascadia Health is seeking a compassionate, collaborative Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our Integrated Primary Care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide relationship-centered, whole-person care in a multidisciplinary setting where quality, collaboration, and patient outcomes take priority over high-volume practice.

Physicians work closely with behavioral health clinicians, psychiatric providers, nurses, care coordinators, and peer support specialists to support individuals with complex physical and behavioral health needs. In addition to providing comprehensive outpatient primary care, the physician serves as a clinical leader, collaborates on medication management for stable behavioral health conditions, supports Medication Supported Recovery (Suboxone) services, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. With lighter patient panels, longer appointment times, and a low-volume, nurse-triaged after-hours call rotation, this position offers excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an underserved community.

    Why Physicians Choose Cascadia

    • Smaller patient panels with manageable daily schedules
    • Greater autonomy and flexibility in clinical decision-making
    • More meaningful time with each patient
    • Collaborative team-based care with behavioral health integration
    • Minimal after-hours responsibilities through nurse -triaged call
    • Mission-driven work servicing vulnerable and underserved populations
    • Opportunity to help shape innovative models of integrated healthcare
    • Supportive leadership committed to provider wellness and quality care
    • Competitive compensation that ranks among the top physician pay in the Portland metro area.
