Security Clearance:
Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
Enter financial data into government approved systems for obligation and procurement such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning or Standard Procurement System.
Conduct analysis, report financial risk, and advise the government of strategies to mitigate the impact of financial risk.
Assist with the development and issuance of formal financial policies and directives as required.
Ensure compliance with DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and DoD 5000 series acquisition policies and procedures.
Provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to improve current ad hoc or documented business rules.
Assist in analysis of monthly burn rate analysis, trend analysis, multi-year historical performance.
Experiences:
Minimum of 3 years' experience with Navy Financial Systems to include: Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP).
Strong knowledge of DFARS and DoD 5000 acquisition regulations.
Experience Standard Procurement Systems (SPS).
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or another related field.
