MDD helps insurance companies, independent adjustment firms, attorneys, multinational corporations, government entities, and individuals calculate the true economic damage of claims or disputes.We are always looking for Senior Accountants to serve as an essential supporting function of the accounting team in various office locations. The ideal candidate will have a sound technical background in accounting/finance, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and can work independently.Key Responsibilities Analyze and reconcile claim to final calculationParticipate in strategic planning sessions with accounting teamAnalyze sales, production, and other accounting dataAssist clients with conducting interviews during the financial investigation to accurately identify all parties involvedPerform forensic research to trace funds and identify assets for recoveryPrepare preliminary draft of report narrative and schedulesEvaluate insurance claims and economic damageWork closely with senior staff on litigation cases, first party property, business valuationsRepresent the firm at local industry functions alongside senior leadersEnsures compliance with state and federal lawsAny other tasks assigned by supervisorSkills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting3+ years of accounting experienceCPA or actively pursuing designationAbility to speak multiple languages, a plusMust have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicleMust have demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPossess a professional demeanor and be a positive thinkerMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookBenefits We offer a competitive benefits package including paid vacation and holidays, 401k, medical, dental, vision, and life and disability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
