What You'll Do

As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for:

• Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products to meet customer specifications and quality standards

• Using knives and meat-cutting tools safely and efficiently

• Cleaning and preparing carcasses while following food safety and sanitation procedures

• Packaging meat products using vacuum-sealing and Cryovac equipment

• Loading, unloading, and organizing products and materials

• Working in refrigerated environments while maintaining a clean and organized workspace

• Supporting daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Previous experience as a Meat Cutter, Butcher, Meat Processor, or Grocery Store Meat Department Associate

• Strong knife skills and knowledge of proper meat-cutting techniques

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and food safety

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding work

• Comfort working in refrigerated environments

• A dependable work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team

• Ability or willingness to purchase a personal knife set if required

Location & Schedule

This position is located in Eugene, Oregon, with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs.
