We are seeking a Mechanic to perform mechanical operations, inspections, repairs, and assembly of turbomachinery components and equipment. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience working with pumps, gearboxes, compressors, blowers, and turbines, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and assemble rotating equipment according to OEM and customer specifications.
- Perform dimensional and runout inspections, document findings, and identify necessary repairs or replacement parts.
- Complete service records, inspection reports, and final repair documentation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure equipment meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain shop equipment, follow safety procedures, and keep the work area clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Must have 5-10 years of Mechanic experience working on pumps, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, and turbines
- Must have high school diploma or GED mechanic certification
- Must have strong mechanical troubleshooting, attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must have ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must supply basic mechanic tools and measuring devices.
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
