Mechanic

Essential Duties:

• Report to work in a fit for duty and ready to work condition daily.
• Inspect PPE and safety equipment prior to use, and report any PPE or equipment in a broken, worn, or not ready for use status.
• Immediately report any injury or incident to a supervisor regardless of significance.
• Participate in safety initiatives like observations, near misses, and safety committees.
• Inspect containers in accordance with the Technical Manuals.
• Identify needed repairs, including critical welds.
• Identify parts needed for repairs.
• Operate associated equipment.
• Transport containers to appropriate staging areas.
• Complete container repairs.
• Dispense repair parts and materials.
• Perform pc transactions as required.
• Observe safe practice rules (including housekeeping) as well as instructions relating to the efficient performance of their work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to understand mechanical repairs needed.
• Ability to receive customer computer access.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic and good working knowledge of tools preferred.

Compensation Details:

$22.00
