Job Description: The Mechanic is responsible for assuring that the packaging line is set up and operates properly, is maintained, and does so in a safe and efficient manner. They are responsible for size changeovers, optimizing the machine, and troubleshooting. In addition, they are responsible for general maintenance and repairs (basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry), equipment installation, and participating with training new operators. Work under general supervision of Packaging Supervisor following company policies and ensuring compliance with cGMP.
