Mechanic – Nashoba Valley Ski Area  

$21–$35/hr + Free Ski Pass

Nashoba Valley Ski Area is hiring mechanics. We are hiring Entry Level, Mid‑Level, and Experienced Mechanics to join our year‑round maintenance team. If you enjoy working on a wide variety of equipment — from ATVs and golf carts to tractors, trucks, and aerial lifts — this is a unique opportunity to grow your skills in a fun, outdoor environment.

What You’ll Work On:

• ATVs, UTVs, golf carts, tractors, and company vehicles

• Aerial lifts and surface lifts (training provided)

• Small engines, hydraulics, electrical systems

• Heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and loaders

• Seasonal equipment including snowmobiles and snow groomers

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and lifts

• Operate heavy equipment as needed

• Support snowmaking and mountain operations during winter

• General maintenance tasks as needed (light carpentry, basic repairs)

• Maintain a safe, clean, organized shop environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical aptitude — junior to experienced techs welcome

• Experience with small engines, automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment

• Ability to work independently and with a team

• Comfortable working outdoors

• Willingness to learn new equipment and systems

Schedule:

• Year‑round, full‑time

• Seasonal shifts may include early mornings or evenings
