Mechanical Assembler II (Defense Industry)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Compensation: $19-$21 per hour depending on experience
Start Date: 03/02/2026
Overview
The Mechanical Assembler II is responsible for producing high-quality mechanical assemblies to prescribed standards, with a focus on precision, safety, and continuous improvement. This role supports production operations by executing advanced-level assembly functions while ensuring contractual specifications and delivery schedules are met.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate assigned machinery within production.
Perform advanced mechanical assembly, prep, spray application, and inspection functions.
Install components to detailed contract specifications using hand and power tools.
Interpret blueprints, process flow instructions, and technical documentation.
Follow visual and written work instructions within defined production timelines.
Adhere strictly to quality and safety standards within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Support additional production projects as required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally.
Ability to wear required PPE in a production environment.
Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Experience working with hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
Prior experience in regulated or defense-related manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
