Mechanical Assembler – Manufacturing
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Mechanical Assemblers for a metal fabrication company in La Vergne, TN! We are looking for hands-on individuals with experience using power tools, impact guns, pneumatic tools, and other equipment to assemble metal components.
Pay: $17.50–$20.00/hr, depending on experience
1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday with mandatory overtime, including potential weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble metal components using power tools, impact guns, pneumatic tools, and hand tools.
- Read and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.
- Measure, align, and secure parts according to specifications.
- Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience using power tools, impact guns, or pneumatic tools required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints required.
- Mechanical assembly, automotive, construction, fabrication, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
- Basic math and measuring skills.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
- Must be available for mandatory overtime.
