This is not repetitive assembly -line work. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, youll work on complex, high -mix builds that require technical skill, precision, and real problem -solving. Youll interpret mechanical drawings, troubleshoot pneumatic and mech anical system issues, take ownership of challenging builds, and help ensure every system leaving our floor meets exacting performance and quality standards. THE WORK Assemble systems: Build mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems from engineering drawings and work instructions. Install hardware: Route and install tubing, fittings, valves, regulators, manifolds, and precision mechanical components to exact specifications. Verify functionality: Run thorough leak checks, pressure testing, and functional verification to ensure shipped products work perfectly. Troubleshoot errors: Diagnose, isolate, and repair mechanical or pneumatic system issues when a build does not meet test parameters. Support R&D: Assist with prototype builds and engineering development work where the instructions are not always fully defined yet. WHAT YOU BRING Proven experience: 2 or more years of mechanical assembly experience in aerospace, industrial equipment, or defense manufacturing. Blueprint literacy: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of material independently. Technical aptitude: Strong natural mechanical skills and a genuine knack for technical troubleshooting. Education: High school diploma or GED is required. Technical training or a trade school certification is highly preferred. Raptor Scientific | raptor -scientific.com | Page 2 Desirable skills: Experience with pneumatic tubing, high -pressure systems, or ERP and MRP systems like Plex is a plus. Physical ability: Comfort standing for several hours a day and the physical ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.
