Job Summary

Innova Software Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Engineer to support the detailed mechanical design and documentation of advanced electronics hardware and accelerator modules.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Creo/ProE, GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, PLM systems, engineering change management, and ECAD/MCAD integration.

This role focuses on developing production-ready mechanical models, detailed engineering drawings, and accurate design documentation while supporting multidisciplinary hardware engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical CAD Design and Detailing

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models for mechanical assemblies and individual components using Creo/ProE.

• Create production-ready engineering drawings with complete GD&T specifications.

• Perform dimensional tolerance stack-up analysis.

• Maintain accurate mechanical design documentation and assembly structures.

• Incorporate design-review feedback and maintain controlled revisions.

Product Lifecycle Management and Engineering Changes

• Prepare engineering drawing-release packages.

• Create and maintain Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and change-control documentation.

• Maintain master CAD models, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and revision records in PLM systems.

• Ensure engineering documentation is accurate, traceable, and release-ready.

ECAD and MCAD Integration

• Execute ECAD-to-MCAD data exchange using IDF/IDX formats.
