Mechanical Construction Assistant (Mechanical or High Purity Piping)

Role&Responsibility

Paperwork and site management should go hand in hand. Must have basic mechanical knowledge and be willing to work flexible hours.- Project paperwork and site management- Responsible for reviewing specification & shop drawing- Coordinating engineering issues with engineering company (Compliance of specifications and owner requirements)- Responsible for Construction monitoring and reporting to include progress measurement- Managing progress and schedule for assigned scope which includesfabrication and installation.- Communicate project status to Project Management, Client, internal and external customers as appropriate or required- Mentor and assist in welding work for contractor

Qualification

- Preferred Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work- related experience- Preferred experience in Mechanical or High Purity piping Construction (2+)- Preferred able to read and interpret P&ID- Experience in Chemical Piping, preferred but not required- Proficient Experience in BIM, MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point), AutoCAD, Navisworks- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

Key Notes / Requirements

- Bilingual (English, Korean) required- Well written and verbal communication skills
