You will work closely with engineering, procurement, preconstruction, and operations teams to evaluate project scope, labor requirements, material costs, equipment needs, site logistics, and construction execution strategies. Throughout the day, you will perform quantity take-offs, analyze subcontractor and vendor quotations, support value engineering efforts, and assess constructability risks that may impact project cost, schedule, or productivity. You will also participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits, collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, and maintain estimating databases using historical project cost information and market trends. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to make sound decisions under deadlines help ensure accurate proposals, competitive bids, and successful project outcomes across the power, industrial, manufacturing, and mission-critical construction sectors.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum three (3) years of construction estimating or construction management experience.Experience in power generation and industrial construction environments.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.Experience with Lump Sum, Fixed Fee, and Time & Material contract structures.Advanced knowledge of construction estimating, labor analysis, quantity take-offs, and cost modeling.Strong understanding of construction contracts, technical specifications, and scope development.Working knowledge of project cost accounting principles and financial controls.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry estimating and scheduling software.Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.BENEFITSWYATT provides a comprehensive benefits package.
