Mechanical Construction Technician – Facilities

We are seeking a hands-on Facilities Mechanical Construction Technician to support equipment installations and facility utility systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

In this role, you'll work alongside contractors, maintenance teams, and project managers to install, troubleshoot, and support critical plant utilities that keep manufacturing operations running 24/7. If you have experience with mechanical systems, piping, pumps, chilled water systems, industrial maintenance, or construction projects, we'd like to hear from you.

AS A MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN - FACILITIES, YOU CAN EXPECT TO HAVE THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support construction and installation projects for manufacturing equipment
• Coordinate daily work with contractors and facility personnel
• Read and interpret mechanical, piping, and electrical drawings
• Verify installations are completed safely and according to specifications
• Assist with startup, testing, commissioning, and turnover of new systems
• Support permits, safety reviews, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Troubleshoot utility system issues and perform minor repairs as needed
• Participate in field inspections, safety observations, and quality checks
• Help identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase system reliability

SYSTEMS YOU'LL WORK WITH:

• Chilled Water Systems (CHW)
• Process Cooling Water Systems (PCW)
• Deionized Water Systems (DIW)
• Pumps and Piping Systems
• Industrial Exhaust Systems
• Facility Utility Infrastructure

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU'LL NEED EXPERIENCE SUCH AS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities operations, utilities, construction, mechanical systems, or a related trade
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, piping, and controls drawings
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, or supporting industrial utility systems
• Experience working safely in operating industrial facilities and active construction environments
• Experience coordinating work with contractors, engineers, and operations personnel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, refinery, data center, or power generation environments
• Trade school certification, apprenticeship, military technical training, or associate degree
• Experience with equipment startup, commissioning, and system turnover activities
• Experience using AutoCAD, PM Web, ACC Build, CX Alloy, CMMS, or similar maintenance/project management systems
