1st shift 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM OT hours will be required if requested by Deere.

Introduction
Join our innovative team as a Product Engineer in Fuquay-Varina, NC, where you will play a critical role in developing and implementing design solutions to enhance our product line's cost, quality, and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in 3D CAD and other engineering tools & systems (e.g., Creo, Windchill, SAP, ANSYS)
Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, structural, and powertrain systems
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of technical drawings and GD&T
Experience taking designs from ideas to full production implementation
Experience performing engineering calculations and data analysis
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Electrical Engineering
Prior work experience in the client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Advanced engineering degree
Experience with commercial mowing products or parallel industries
Experience with gasoline and diesel engines and engine systems
Experience with design for manufacturing techniques
Knowledge of systems engineering and/or Six Sigma methodologies
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Develop and implement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of existing products
Manage the implementation of multiple moderate scope projects on a common timeline tied to a pre-determined implementation date
Identify the root cause of identified issues and develop corrective actions to resolve them
Collaborate within a cross-functional team to provide engineering support
