We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in product design, development, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Pro/ENGINEER (Creo) solid modeling and experience with manufacturing-oriented mechanical design.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement mechanical products and components.
Create detailed 3D solid models and mechanical designs using Pro/ENGINEER (Creo).
Develop and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD as needed.
Support Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to improve product cost, quality, and performance.
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to mechanical designs.
Perform and support FMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis activities.
Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to develop production-ready designs.
Design components for various manufacturing processes, including machining, injection molding, casting, and sheet metal fabrication.
Evaluate designs for manufacturability, reliability, quality, and cost effectiveness.
Support troubleshooting and resolution of design and manufacturing issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement and product development initiatives.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in mechanical/product design, development, and implementation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
