Position s Contributions to Work Group:
- Lab testing of electric drive components and systems performance and durability testing, failure / root cause investigation.

Typical task breakdown:

- Conduct detailed inspections and root cause investigation into motor and generator failures. Inspections involve hands-on work, consisting of electrical checks, visual inspections, x-ray review, material and fluid analysis

Interaction with team:
- Will work with engineers to learn role and that individual will continue to mentor and oversee inspection activities

Work environment:
- Lab testing environment, typically spend 30% at desk, 70% in lab conducting inspections or electrical checks safety shoes, PPE

Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 1-2 years experience, can accept masters, associate degree 4-5 years
- Degree requirement: BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering
