Mechanical Engineer - Aerospace & Defense - Miami, FL

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for aerospace and defense applications.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering analyses, including structural, thermal, and tolerance evaluations.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product qualification efforts.
• Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, systems, and quality engineers throughout product development.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for design and performance issues.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Support manufacturing and assembly activities, including design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
• Develop and maintain bills of materials, specifications, and configuration-controlled documentation.
• Interface with suppliers and customers on technical requirements and project deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product performance, cost, and manufacturability.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Experience creating engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical system design.
• Experience supporting product development, testing, and qualification activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet technical milestones.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
