Job Summary

Innova Software Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in mechanical design, large assembly management, vacuum system design, and 3D CAD modeling using Creo/ProE.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering materials, mechanical system layouts, and product design principles. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating with geographically distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Design and Engineering

• Develop conceptual and detailed mechanical designs using Creo/ProE and other applicable CAD tools.

• Design and manage large mechanical assemblies and complex system layouts using reference geometry.

• Create and maintain accurate 3D solid models and mechanical design documentation.

• Support mechanical design reviews and engineering change activities.

• Apply appropriate engineering materials and fabrication techniques to mechanical system designs.

Vacuum Systems and Manufacturing

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for vacuum system applications.

• Apply knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques used in vacuum environments.

• Incorporate manufacturing considerations into mechanical designs.

• Work with manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and sheet metal forming.

• Evaluate mechanical design feasibility, manufacturability, and assembly requirements.

Engineering Collaboration

• Coordinate design activities with onsite and offshore engineering teams.

• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and other technical disciplines.

• Communicate technical requirements, design updates, and project deliverables.

• Adapt engineering priorities based on evolving project requirements.

• Participate in design discussions and technical problem-solving activities.

Engineering Tools and Documentation

• Use Creo/ProE for 3D mechanical modeling and assembly design.

• Work with AutoCAD for applicable design and drafting activities.

• Support product data and engineering documentation management using PLM/PDM platforms such as Enovia and Windchill.

• Prepare technical documentation and engineering presentations using Microsoft Office tools.

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in mechanical engineering and product design.

• Hands-on experience with Creo/ProE for 3D solid modeling.

• Experience managing large mechanical assemblies and system layouts using reference geometry.

• Understanding of machining, welding, sheet metal forming, and related manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of vacuum system design.

• Understanding of engineering materials and fabrication techniques.

• Experience coordinating engineering activities across onsite and offshore teams.

• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary and geographically distributed engineering organizations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing project priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reverse engineering.

• Experience in semiconductor equipment or related engineering environments.

• Familiarity with SEMI S2 and SEMI S8 standards.

• Experience with AutoCAD.

• Experience using Enovia or Windchill.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio, Publisher, and other Microsoft Office applications.
