Summary: 

• Focuses on Satellite Bus Structures Design.

• Updates 3D CAD models of spacecraft structures using PTC Creo Parametric.

• Creates and releases engineering drawings using GD&T principles.

• Creates and releases annotated 3D models using GD&T principles.

• Manages engineering drawing releases through a Product Data Management System.

• Interprets engineering design drawings for mechanical design work.

• Applies mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials, and analysis.

• Uses engineering CAD tools such as Creo and SolidWorks with model-based product definition.

• Applies Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5.

• Uses Engineering Product Data Management (EPDM) for engineering data product release.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and education.

• 5 or more years of relevant professional experience in structural design.

• Mechanical design knowledge and experience interpreting engineering design drawings.

• Knowledge of engineering CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks and model-based product definition.

• Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials, and analysis.

• Experience applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME Y14.5.

• Experience with engineering data product release processes within an Engineering Product Data Management (EPDM) system.
