HiFyve is hiring a Mechanical Engineer I in the manufacturing industry in Kettering, Ohio!

Salary: Up to $90,000 a year

Location: Kettering, Ohio

Position Overview

Combine 3D design and hands-on engineering to develop prototypes and improve laboratory and pilot-plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and modify parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.

• Analyze laboratory processes and data to develop prototypes.

• Assemble, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair prototypes and equipment.

• Collaborate with engineering team members and follow laboratory safety protocols.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Mechanical Engineering degree preferred; applicable experience considered.

• Targeting 0–2 years of experience.

• Proficiency in 3D modeling and drawing creation; SolidWorks preferred.

• Manufacturing experience, especially chemical manufacturing, is a plus.

• Creative problem-solving, technical communication, and independent work skills.

• Basic electrical systems and chemistry knowledge preferred.
