Position: Mechanical EngineerLocation: Nazareth, PASIGN-ON BONUSASGCO engineers, manufactures, and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above-ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. We focus on providing exceptional products and service to our customers with the best solutions to their conveyor and screening material handling applications. ASGCO Manufacturing is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our headquarters in Nazareth, PA. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an engineer who enjoys designing real-world industrial equipment, collaborating closely with manufacturing, and seeing projects through from concept to production. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, thrives in a team environment, and is excited to work directly with customers and internal departments to develop innovative bulk material handling solutions. This is an opportunity to become part of a very progressive company with continued growth.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Perform functions to identify, conceptualize and design bulk material conveyor transfer system componentsto meet end user needsWork with sales, marketing, manufacturing, and fabrication departments to develop solutions to meet inhouse and end user bulk material conveyor transfer system needsDevelop and maintain CAD skills in software utilized by our organizationEnsure necessary details, dimensions and calculations are prepared and accurate applying applicablestandardsPrepare detailed fabrication drawings from the final three-dimensional models and ensure completeness ofdata on printsMaintain contacts and good working relationships with customers and suppliersAssist Territory Sales and Service Managers with engineering drawings and other technical servicesAssist Territory Managers with conveyor inspections, training and sales as needed in their respectedterritoriesInteract directly with customers and build positive customer relationshipsLook to improve our current products and look for new products to developBe a SAFE and motivated leader / team playerThis is a hands-on engineering role requiring regular interaction with manufacturing, fabrication, and customers. Engineers spend time in both the office and production environmentsComply with all policies and procedures in Employee HandbookRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 3 years of mechanical product design experience in a manufacturing environment preferredProficiency with 3D CAD software (Inventor preferred)Experience creating manufacturing and fabrication drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsMust be able to work on-site Monday-Friday at our Nazareth, PA headquartersMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the futureAbility to travel domestically and internationally as neededValid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locationsLocation & Work Authorization;This is a full-time, on-site position based at ASGCO's headquarters in Nazareth, PACandidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate before their start dateThis position is not remote or hybridCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorshipNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
