Mechanical Engineering Intern, Americas

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• 3D CAD sheet metal design and drafting of mechanical components and assemblies
• Drawing conversion from AutoCAD to Autodesk Inventor  
• Sheet metal Part design, analysis, debug and rework
• Report preparation and presentation at the end of the project
• All activities will be designed to give the intern a full understanding of the BAC engineering design and insight into fabrication

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursing a Bachelors (Junior or above) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Mechanical Design skills and understanding of mechanical design practices
• Must be mechanically inclined and be able to visualize mechanical (spatial) relationships
• 3D Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) experience (i.e. Autodesk Inventor)
• Thorough understanding of AutoCAD
• Sheet Metal design experience preferred
• Autodesk Vault knowledge preferred
• Previous internship experience preferred

 

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $22 - $28 per hour. 

BAC provides additional earnings in the form of overtime as applicable under law.
