Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for projects located in or around Baytown, TX. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $32-$45/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Mechanical Maintenance Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

• Repair and maintain manufacturing equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and restore equipment to OEM specifications
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, SOPs, and JSAs
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training other employees

Requirements:

• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing mechanical maintenance experience
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics
• Basic electrical knowledge related to mechanical equipment
• Experience with preventative maintenance and CMMS systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in hot, cold, noisy industrial environments
• Willingness to work overtime and rotating schedules as needed

Preferred:

• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid power troubleshooting skills (servo experience preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
