    Description

    We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects. This role provides technical support to project managers and field teams, helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with design specifications.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and constructability

    • Prepare and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinate responses with design teams

    • Assist with change order management and project documentation

    • Support quality assurance and quality control processes during installation

    • Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, subcontractors, and engineering teams

    • Monitor project progress and assist with job cost tracking and reporting

    • Provide technical support to field personnel during installation and commissioning

    • Maintain organized project records and documentation

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

    • Experience supporting mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, or piping projects

    • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents

    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    • Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and field teams

    • Willingness to spend time both in the office and at project sites as needed

    Work Environment

    This role is primarily office-based with periodic site visits to support active projects in the surrounding region. Some remote coordination may be required for projects located outside the immediate area.
