Mechanical Project Manager

Houston, TX | Full Time, Permanent | $110,000 to $140,000

About the Company

gpac partners with well established commercial mechanical contractors across the Houston market performing HVAC and plumbing construction on commercial and industrial projects.

About the Role

The Project Manager leads mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, owning budget, schedule and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasting and cost control

• Build and maintain detailed project schedules

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field leadership

• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders and pay applications

• Keep strong relationships with general contractors and owners

• Uphold safety and quality standards on every project

Required

• 5+ years of commercial mechanical project management experience

• Experience managing HVAC and plumbing projects

• Strong scheduling and financial tracking skills

Preferred

• Experience with a mechanical contractor

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Experience with project management software

Compensation and Benefits

• $110,000 to $140,000, based on experience
