Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and execute repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase equipment longevity.
- Monitor and calibrate machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize disruption to daily car wash activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repair procedures.
- Install and configure new mechanical components and systems.
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide on-call support for emergency maintenance issues as needed.
- Assist with equipment upgrades and retrofits to improve performance and efficiency. Provide documentation, training, and knowledge sharing for internal stakeholders on AD and cybersecurity tools and practices.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance or technician role
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and PLCs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
Preferred but not required:
- Technical certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, bearings, and hand tools
- Basic electrical skills, including knowledge of 240-480 volt systems
- Familiarity with air compressors, torch use (oxygen/acetylene), and electrical troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools and equipment

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This position involves physical work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Must be comfortable working around moving machinery, water, and cleaning chemicals.
- Requires bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
- May involve occasional travel between locations for equipment support.
