Mechanisms Engineer - 174357

Responsibilities: of the Mechanisms Engineer: Assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft mechanisms, including thousands of moving parts per satellite Develop and operate ground support equipment for vibration, shock, and thermal vacuum testing Analyze test data, determine pass/fail criteria, and support spacecraft integration and launch operations Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure mechanism performance from design through mission deployment Troubleshoot anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to design improvements Requirements for the Mechanisms Engineer: 2+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or related engineering fields Proficiency in mechanical assembly, testing, and integration of space hardware Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, thermal chambers) Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Flexibility for occasional weekend and early morning work (e.g., 4 AM deployments) Compensation: for the Mechanisms Engineer: Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000+ depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Paid Holidays Additional Benefits: Relocation assistance, stock options, meal stipend, and unlimited PTO #LI-CW2 #LI-ONSITE
