About our group:

The Characterization & Analytics (CAG) Group supports Head Gimbal Assembly (HGA) evaluation and quality verification at the Maturity Level 0 (M0/M1) stage, supporting new technology and new process development. The team works closely with Design, Manufacturing, USA, and the Korat Laboratory. This internship provides hands-on experience in engineering experiments, data collection, analysis, and technical reporting.

About the role - you will:

Design electrical and pneumatic circuits and perform basic engineering calculations for industrial equipment.

Select electrical components in accordance with Seagate's SOP39 Safety Standard and project requirements.

Create electrical and pneumatic diagrams for equipment development.

Develop 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using engineering design software such as SolidWorks.

Support Seagate's engineering document control process.

Apply SOP39 safety requirements throughout equipment development projects. #internship

About you:

Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of electrical circuit design and engineering principles.

Familiarity with PLC programming.

Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD design software.

Basic understanding of electrical safety in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Eagerness to learn and apply engineering knowledge in a practical environment.

Your experience includes:

• Knowledge in International Finance Environment
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, Macro, Formulas, V-look up)
• Experience working with Oracle and SAP S4/HANA
• Bachelors and/or equivalent experience
