- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070-$2,180
Job Requirements- Active New York State RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent palliative care or acute Med/Surg nursing experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong IV therapy, wound care, and clinical assessment skills
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and time management abilities
- Experience with patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps or CHPN certification strongly preferred
Responsibilities- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for adults with intensive symptom management needs
- Perform thorough nursing assessments and advocate for patients with complex medical needs
- Support patients and families during challenging end-of-life care situations
- Deliver skilled IV therapy, wound care, and general Med/Surg nursing interventions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to manage patient comfort and clinical priorities
- Care for general medicine overflow patients as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
