Position Details:
MED/SURG- Delta CO
Location                           : Delta CO 81416
Duration                          : 13 weeks
Pay-rate                           : $54-$57/hour
Shift                                   : 6PM-6AM
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing for a 13-week assignment. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
 
Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ health conditions and progress.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient conditions, and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with established healthcare standards.
• Follow infection control procedures and patient safety protocols.

 
Required Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the State of Colorado.
• Two years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Specialty certification in the relevant nursing area preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required upon hire or within six months.
